Clinical Supervision & Consultation

Support for Clinicians at Every Stage

Building a career in social work can be both rewarding and challenging. Whether you are working toward your LCSW, navigating your first years of clinical practice, or looking for a space to talk through complex clinical situations, supervision and consultation can provide valuable support.

At Wolfe Counseling Services, I offer a collaborative, supportive approach to clinical supervision and professional consultation designed to help clinicians strengthen their skills, build confidence, and develop their own authentic clinical style.

My Approach

My clinical approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and client-centered. I incorporate approaches including EMDR, parts work/IFS-informed techniques, CBT strategies, narrative therapy, and other evidence-informed interventions based on the needs of the client.

As a supervisor and consultant, my goal is not to teach you to practice exactly as I do. Instead, I want to help you develop the knowledge, clinical reasoning, and confidence to identify what works for you as a clinician while maintaining ethical and effective practice.

I believe good supervision should leave you feeling more confident—not because you have all the answers, but because you know how to approach the questions.

Who I Work With

Supervision and consultation are appropriate for:

  • LSWs working toward LCSW licensure

  • Early-career clinical social workers

  • Clinicians developing their clinical identity

  • Mental health professionals seeking additional clinical perspective

  • Clinicians interested in trauma-informed approaches

Clinical Supervision for LSWs

I provide clinical supervision for Licensed Social Workers (LSWs) working toward their LCSW. Supervision is an opportunity to develop your clinical skills while receiving guidance, support, and feedback throughout the licensure process.

Supervision may include:

  • Clinical case conceptualization and treatment planning

  • Developing and strengthening clinical skills

  • Diagnostic assessment and differential diagnosis

  • Documentation and clinical record review

  • Ethical and professional decision-making

  • Navigating boundaries and challenging clinical situations

  • Trauma-informed practice

  • Understanding transference and countertransference

  • Developing confidence in your clinical judgment

  • Processing the emotional impact of clinical work

  • Preparing for independent clinical practice and LCSW licensure

My supervision style is collaborative rather than prescriptive. I believe effective supervision should provide both accountability and a safe space to ask questions, explore uncertainty, and learn from your experiences.

Individual & Group Supervision

Clinical supervision may be provided through individual or group supervision, depending on your needs and current availability.

Individual supervision provides dedicated one-on-one time to focus on your clinical development, cases, professional goals, and the specific areas in which you would like to grow.

Group supervision offers the opportunity to learn alongside other social workers, gain multiple perspectives, discuss clinical experiences, and build connections with other professionals navigating the licensure process.

If you are interested in supervision, please reach out to discuss current availability, supervision options, rates, and scheduling.
